Management

The management of the Institute is vested on an autonomous body under the Government of Kerala as a registered Society under the Travancore- Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955. The Institute will have the following organizational structure.

• Governing body: Policy making body
• The Executive committee : Administrative body
• The Scientific and Academic Council: Scientific and Pedagogic Agenda body
• The Director: The Chief Executive Officer of the Institute

Delegation of powers of individual committee is detailed in the Rules and Regulations that are issued separately.

Without prejudice to the above objectives and for effectively carrying out the same, the society shall have power to receive, hold and possess any property including securities of any kind and to construct and maintain any building. The income, earnings and properties of the Institute shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objective only as set forth in the Memorandum of Association. The society shall also have power to frame Rules and Regulations.
